The Creation
This was a project that started with a song and a visualization looking for a shape. “Deja Vu” by Flor Yorio had something I didn´t know how to explain in words, but I knew it had to be made into something visual, something you could feel in another way.
I spent a lot of time listening. Not just to the song, but to what it opened up in my mind. The pre-production process was mostly imagination, trying to understand what this song looked like, and how we could bring that to life with what we had, which wasn’t much.
I wrote the script through images and then translated to words. Moments that felt soft, repetitive, distant, almost like memories. The video didn’t need to tell a story. It just needed to hold a mood.
This project reminded me that with the right intention, even the smallest tools can build something that feels true.
